    3 day Morocco Sahara desert tour from Fes. In this trip of 3 days / 2 nights you will visit so many fabulous places in a short time. Firstly, we leave Fes the cultural city to visit the Switzerland of Morocco Ifrane, and also the cedars forest. A stop in Midelt for lunch, then drive along the amazing Ziz valley.

     

    You will visit the Sahara desert of Merzouga. In which you can ride camels, spend the night in a desert camp in the middle of the desert. And enjoy magical sunset and sunrise in the Sahara. Explore the Sahara desert of Merzouga in 4×4 vehicle. And also visit Rissani traditional market and Erfoud the fossils town. Finally we return to Fes. End of the desert tour.

    Day 1Fez –Azrou - Medilt –Todra Gorges

    We pick up you from your Riad Hotel in Fes, we head Todra Gorges, passing through Ifrane to arrive to the cedar forests of Azrou where the wild monkeys are located. It will be good opportunity to take photos of wilderness in Morocco. We will have our lunch in a small Berber village, Zaida and continue the way through the Atlas Mountains enjoying the landscapes of Medilt to arrive the small town of Rich. Here, we turn right toward Todra Gorges where we will spent the night.

    Day 2Todra Gorges –Erfoud –Merzouga

    We will travel from Todra gorges to Merzouga. Berber villages are scattered along the way. We will pass through Tinjdad, Jorf and Erfoud in which we will feel the beginning of the Saharan Oasis of Tafilalt and then continue to Merzouga. There we will go to ride the camels in the dunes of Erg Chebbi.
     
    It is a great experience to imagine yourself riding a camel in erg Chebbi where the silence of the desert is dominating then anything else. Before we reach the camp, we will leave the camels and walk to a high dune to see the sunset. Dinner will be served under a Berber tent with Berber drums music.

    Day 3Merzouga –Ziz Valley –Fes

    After an early sunrise, you will have breakfast then be ready back by camel or 4×4 to Merzouga. Then we will start our tour back to Fes where the tour ends.
